Gua Sha is an additional therapy, and its use would be determined through the Acupuncture or Tui Na consultation and diagnosis process.
Gua Sha would be used on specific areas of the body to stimulate circulation
There are different types of tools made from different types of material including stone, ceramic, or metal.
· Gua Sha instruments are applied to the skin using a scrapping motion in a certain direction
· Techniques can range from light to heavy scaping and slow to fast scraping depending on the person’s constitution and diagnosis.
· Most patients feel warmth and a relaxing feeling during treatment
You’ll rest comfortably until the Gua Sha show signs of doing its job, creating marks on the skin.
